Today in chapel we celebrated the legacy of Bishop Ridley – the namesake of Ridley College who was burned at the stake on October 16th 1555 in Oxford, England during the Marian Persecutions for his protestant beliefs. View the video from chapel:

In March of 2010 Ridley College students travelled to England to perform ‘The Servant of Two Masters’ at independent schools.  There were also trips to historical sites such as the martyr stone in Oxford where Bishop Ridley was burned at the stake:
