World class piano and organ vitruoso Jeremy Filsell will be performing in the Ridley College Memorial Chapel tomorrow evening.  Filsell is the organist at the Washington National Cathedral.  This morning in chapel students were treated to a sneak preview, Mr. Filsell explained a bit about how organs produce different sounds and played the organ – watch the video below- you will recognize the piece:

During the summer, our organ was cleaned and restored. Over, 3, 000 pipes were dismantled, cleaned and put back in place.  The piano and organ recital will showcase what the organ can really do!  Our very own Mr. Jonathan Leigh will also perform (vocalist/tenor).
