The math department has started a new weekly math contest.  Each week a math question from the University of Waterloo will be released on community news and this blog.  There will be a question for Grades 9-10 and another question for those in Grades 11-12.  You must hand your answer into Ms. Braun – Rm 310 of school House by the required deadline.  The person to hand in the best solution on time will be awarded a $5 Starbucks gift card!

This week Shi Qi Hu won the prize for the best answer and honourable mentions go out to Charlie Wu,  Charles Ye.  Here is the best answer from last week.
