Holiday Season at Ridley College

Choir Performing at the Nine Lessons and Carols Service

This weekend we held our annual Nine Lessons and Carols service in the Memorial Chapel. The Candlelight Service celebrates the birth of Christ told in nine short Bible readings, interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols and hymns. It is a beautiful service and the choir sounded wonderful:

Exams are just around the corner, but this past weekend was a good opportunity to pause and think about the holiday season. Many houses are also having their Holiday House dinners this week. Whether the students are going to a restaurant or eating take-out in the PJ’s in the house, the dinners are a nice way to celebrate the holiday season with their housemates before everyone begins exams and leaves for break.
