What to Expect at Ridley College Camp 2012?

We are off to camp tomorrow! The Upper School boys will be heading to Camp Onondaga in Minden, Ontario and the Upper School girls along with the Grade 7 & 8’s from the Lower School will be heading to Camp White Pine in Haliburton, Ontario.

Camp is always a fun experience filled with lots of outdoor activities – everything from sailing to zip lining to high ropes courses.  It is a great time to get to know your housemates and your fellow classmates.  If you want to get a real feel for what camp is like, check out the video from last year:

You might also be asking yourself, what should I pack!?  Here is a list to help you:

Be prepared with warm clothing for the nights, and potentially inclement days. Onondaga’s cabins do not have heat and nighttime may potentially be cool. Pack your gear in something easy to carry, as you will have to walk to your cabin. Try to avoid using a suitcase. Knapsacks or hockey bags are best. Put your name on your things!!
