Grade 9 Geography Students Explore Niagara Region

Ridley College is nestled in the beautiful Niagara Region, on Thursday as part of the Grade 9 Geography curriculum students participate in a Niagara field day to see some of the geographic splendors of the area.  This year stops included ‘Whitty Farms’ (a Niagara Century Farm); the St. Catharines Museum at Lock 3 of the Welland Canal; the Sir Adam Beck Generating Station; and, a ride to the base of Niagara Falls aboard the Maid of the Mist.   The day proved to be an excellent learning experience for our Grade 9s and a terrific opportunity to see the stunning scenery around the Niagara Region.
